The secretariat assists the President and the members of the Swiss Science Council SSC in their respective work, implements decisions made by the Council, and carries out administrative activities.
Task
The secretariat provides the SSC with the resources and information needed in order to fulfil its advisory mission, and also draw on recognised external expertise whenever it is needed. In addition, the secretariat is responsible for circulating information among the members of Council and coordinating with the Federal Administration.
